A to Z 

Collaboration with Jessica Peng and Gail Swanlund

Book of  letters screen printed by the CalArts BFA class of 2020. The letters are based on Peter Bil’ak’s typeface “History,” with each student designing their own alphabet and contributing two letters. (I designed B & X)

Jessica Peng and I organized the project for the Type 3 class, working with budgeting, scheduling and even demonstrating the printing process. We then designed and printed a cover using the elements of our classmates’ letters. The books were perfect bound by hand with the left over copies being sold to raise funds for the graphic design program.
